At Cornerstone Church we desire to see change and transformation in people’s lives and one of the ways that this can occur is through short courses. We facilitate a number of different courses each year designed to help people along their faith journey, and provide practical tools for dealing with some of the challenges we all face in life.

Some of the courses that we facilitate include:

Blocks Courses

The Blocks Course is a series of courses that help to build you into the life of Cornerstone Church. Designed by our Senior Pastor, these are run each year, one a term (except Term Four), and cover some of the basics of the Christian life, as well as the vision of our church.

First Steps

Our First Steps night is designed as the ‘entry point’ for people new to the Cornerstone Church community. Usually run about once a semester, the First Step Night is a great opportunity to meet with some of our leaders, hear about our story and find out where you might fit as part of the Cornerstone Church community … all over some delicious cake and coffee!

The Daniel Plan

The Daniel Plan is an 8 week healthy lifestyle program founded on Biblical principles. The focus is on the “five essentials” of: Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus and Friends, teaching you how to make gradual changes that transform your life inside and out.

Mandy Wallace, a Health Coach in our congregation, will be facilitating this small group course on Thursday evenings throughout the year. To learn more about the Daniel Plan course, please check out our Facebook page here.

Other Courses

Each year we run courses or events that have a particular focus. In previous years we have run programs and courses such as The Alpha Course (a course designed for people who have questions about the Christian faith), MarriedPeople (designed to provide practical tools and support to people in their marriages) and the Parenting Course (for parents of young children).

A number of our staff members are also trained in the use of Prepare/Enrich, a program used to provide Premarital Counselling. To learn more about Prepare/Enrich click here.
